Summit: Healing Intergenerational Trauma

Body-based pathways to break inherited cycles of trauma

Summit: Healing Intergenerational Trauma.
What if our suffering is rooted in trauma our ancestors experienced decades — or even centuries — ago? What if the wounds and triumphs of generations past live on in our bodies, brains, and collective stories? Join five world-leading embodiment experts for an on-demand summit exploring how to connect with ancestral suffering with healing reverence, break inherited cycles, and reclaim authentic freedom and destiny.

Comprehensive Curriculum

Session 1 — Touching into the Gap Between Self-Care and Self-Love: A Hands-On Approach to Regard
Dr. Teresa Lau · 75-minute experiential session

Healing — including intergenerational healing — is mediated through the nervous system, and often the quickest path to changing our relationship with pain and trauma is at the tips of our fingers. Drawing on the science of touch and neurophysiology, rewrite the rules of self-care to make room for genuine self-love and connection.

Session 2 — Make Peace With Your Past So That You May Live Fully Today for a Better Tomorrow
Euphrasia "Efu" Nyaki · 75-minute experiential session

So much of today's planetary trauma echoes wounds from the past. Beginning with our own families, we see patterns repeat from generation to generation. Efu reveals the secret behind unconscious behaviors that create suffering — and teaches how to interrupt them so future generations are no longer bound by what came before.

Session 3 — Antiracism: From Guilt & Overwhelm to Real Joy Doing the Work
Magogodi Makhene · 75-minute experiential session

You know white supremacist patriarchy is in the water — but you're stuck between wanting to act and worrying about doing it wrong. In this interactive masterclass, learn to turn pain and rage against racism into radical love in action, drawing on the wisdom of Audre Lorde and bell hooks. Get grounded in your body and ready to move with confidence. (Bring water, pencil, and journal.)

Session 4 — Somatic Archaeology®
Dr. Ruby Gibson · 75-minute experiential session

Developed by Dr. Ruby in 1995, Somatic Archaeology® is a body-based transgenerational recovery approach that integrates the ancient Medicine Wheel, breathwork, aromatherapy, neurophysiology, biogenealogy, and stress management. The process: cure your amnesia, remember your stories, reveal your history, and reclaim the power to manifest your unique destiny consciously.

Session 5 — Intergenerational Shadow Journey: Heal the Past — Heal the Present
Nir Esterman · 75-minute experiential session

The Shadow — what we find difficult to accept in ourselves and what triggers us in others — has roots far deeper than childhood. Its origins live in the traumas of past generations. Nir teaches how the Shadow shapes our choices and relationships, then guides a journey from a current interpersonal issue to its source in family history — opening space for embodied transformation in your present life.
