About

Rachel Natvig (Ph.D.) is a licensed psychologist with more than
25 years of clinical experience supporting individuals through
grief, trauma, and profound life transitions. As a Grief Midwife
trained in ritual grief tending, she offers holistic, comprehensive,
whole person care that is deeply attuned and honors the
emotional, relational, somatic, and spiritual dimensions of
healing.

Drawing from attachment theory, somatic practices, nervous
system regulation, and training in the biology of trauma, Rachel
helps clients cultivate greater resilience, connection, and
wholeness along the broad spectrum of loss. Her work is also
deeply influenced by the teachings and grief practices of Francis
Weller, integrating ritual, community, and deep soul work into the
healing process.

In addition to her clinical work, Rachel leads transformative grief
ritual retreats that create compassionate spaces for mourning,
restoration, and reconnection. Her approach is grounded,
integrative, and rooted in the belief that grief—when fully
tended—can become a pathway toward deeper authenticity,
belonging, and renewal.
