An opening meditation and welcome to set the tone for a day exploring the somatic foundations of wellbeing.
Session 1 — Space Between Stimulus and Response
Nahid de Belgeonne · 90-minute experiential session
A Human Method session that explores the space between stimulus and response. Begin with breath, move into Somatics, flow through somatic yoga, and end with a restorative pose and yoga nidra. Learn to cultivate awareness of the space between exhale and inhale, create space in the body, and leave feeling rested yet alert.
Session 2 — Flow-ing the Spine
Michal Yarkoni · 90-minute experiential session
The spine is a magnificent conduit for the flow of fluids, energy, and information — and the quality of that flow influences every layer of our being. Drawing on the embryological notochord and the susumna nadi, this experiential yoga class explores embryological, anatomical, and movement aspects of the spine to cultivate flow, clarity, and a deep sense of aliveness.
Session 3 — The Continuum of Yoga
Bobbie Ellis · 90-minute experiential session
Bobbie couples the roots of yoga with the fluid wisdom of Continuum. Through sound play, breath explorations, and gravity-based practices, awaken the intelligence of the fluid body and cultivate inner trust. Learn to track sensation, discover self-regulated shapes in asana, and come home to listen to your deepest teacher — your body. (All levels welcome; bring a mat, chair, blanket, and water.)
Session 4 — Embodying an Indestructible Resource of Well-Being into Daily Life
Dr. Richard Miller · 90-minute experiential session
Is it possible we have within us indestructible, always-present resources of wellbeing and joy that provide a solid foundation from which to meet life's challenges? Through BodySensing asana, BreathSensing prāṇāyāma, meditative stillness, and daily life integration, Richard helps you recognize, nourish, and embody both your unique presence and universal Essence. Includes orienting talk, hatha-based movement, breath practice, meditation, and Q&A.
Session 5 — Diving Through the Waves to the Source of Comfort
Patty Townsend · 75-minute experiential session
Every cell is awake, alive, and self-aware — radiant intelligence manifesting through form. With unwavering acceptance of the trials of being human, dive through the layers of personal thought to the deep comfort of core. Through subtle senses and inward journey, find the universal sea of awareness in which we all swim — and come out stronger, ready to take decisive, clear action.
