About

Deanna is a practicing counsellor and teacher based in British Columbia, Canada, with a Master’s in Clinical Counselling and training in Somatic Experiencing. She studied and worked with Gabor Maté and completed training in Compassionate Inquiry. Over the past decade, her work has focused on plant medicines and psychedelics, including preparation, facilitation, integration, and clinician training. She trained in Peru alongside Indigenous healers at the Temple of the Way of Light and currently consults, designs curriculum, and teaches in clinical contexts with Numinus, integrating embodied awareness, inquiry, curiosity, and compassion in her work.
