The 4 private practical sessions required to receive the full 100hr Practitioner Certification are not included in the cost of the training. Each SSR practitioner sets their own fees, typically ranging from $90–$150 per session. Sessions can be completed via Zoom.

Program Schedule

This 100hr certificate program consists of three separate 5-day training levels, and may be taken online via the on-demand recordings.

There are no homework assignments during the program.

Self-Paced & On-Demand

This certificate program is fully on-demand. All seven modules are available immediately upon enrollment, allowing you to move through the curriculum at your own pace.

Lifetime Access

Once enrolled, you have lifetime access to all course recordings, supporting materials, and downloadable resources — return as often as needed throughout your clinical practice.

Completion Timeframe

Most participants complete the 60-hour curriculum over 3–6 months, though there is no required pace. The program is designed to be integrated alongside an active clinical practice.

A typical schedule is based on 5 hours of training a day.

How much homework will there be?

Receive your Certificate of Completion for 100 hours after you have:

  • Completed 10 hours of student practice sessions.
  • Completed 4 private practical sessions with a Somatic Stress Release™ Practitioner.
How do the 4 private practical sessions with a practitioner work online and how much will they cost?

You’ll be given a list of practitioners to choose from to complete these sessions. Please note that the 4 Private Practical Sessions with a Somatic Stress Release™ practitioner to receive the 100hr certification are not included in the cost of the training. Each practitioner sets their own fees.

Is there a payment plan?

No, there is no payment plan available for the on-demand certificate program.

Will I receive Continuing Education hours for the completion of this training?

If you are a member with Yoga Alliance, you will be eligible to receive 30 hours of CE’s after completion of each module (Levels 1—3) and an additional 10 hours for the completion of the homework.

Completion of the entire Somatic Stress Release™ Certificate is therefore eligible for 100 hours of CE's with Yoga Alliance.

If you have any other professional memberships you’ll need to apply to that organisation directly.
