Talia B. Shafir, PhD, is a Master Somatic Movement Educator–Therapist and clinical hypnotherapist specializing in psychophysical approaches to developmental and birth trauma, PTSD, intergenerational trauma, and adult attachment. A senior faculty member of Dynamic Embodiment, her work explores the relationship between movement, language, and attachment defenses. Dr. Shafir teaches internationally on trauma, polyvagal theory, and somatic practice, and is the author of Embodying Attachment and multiple peer-reviewed publications.
