Lisa Ferentz, LCSW-C, DAPA, is a recognized expert in the strengths-based, de-pathologized treatment of trauma, with 40+ years in private practice. Founder of The Ferentz Institute, now in its 17th year, she has graduated thousands of clinicians from her advanced trauma certificate programs and serves as adjunct faculty at several universities. In 2009 she was named Social Worker of the Year by the Maryland Society for Clinical Social Work. She authored Treating Self-Destructive Behaviors in Trauma Survivors, Letting Go of Self-Destructive Behaviors, and Finding Your Ruby Slippers.
