Your nervous system is trying to protect you — but it's keeping you stuck.

A person in quiet, deeply reflective stillness, hand resting on chest, bathed in warm window light

Maybe you've spent years trying to figure it out — therapy, books, courses, breathwork, journaling. Maybe you haven't done any of that, and you're just aware, somewhere beneath the surface, that something isn't right. That you're not quite living the life you want to be living. That there's a version of you that feels freer, calmer, more at home in yourself — and you can't quite get there.

You feel it in your body — the tension that doesn't fully release, the low hum of something unresolved, the exhaustion that sleep doesn't fix. You feel it in your relationships — the same dynamics playing out, with different people, in different rooms.

Part of you wants to move forward. Another part isn't so sure — and for good reason. That part learned, at some point, that holding back was safer than opening up.

You're up against something that understanding alone — no matter how much of it you have — was never designed to reach.

Signs your nervous system is asking for support.

01

In how you feel

  • Anxiety, racing thoughts
  • Overwhelm, shutdown
  • Irritability, reactivity
  • Disconnection from others
02

In the body

  • Chronic tension, tightness
  • Fatigue, low energy
  • Sleep issues, restlessness
  • Unexplained aches, pain

You are not broken.

Your nervous system is just ready for repair and restoration.

A ten-week live healing program with personal small-group coaching.

Most people spend years searching for the right support. The right teacher. The right container. The kind of experience that doesn't just give you more to understand — but actually moves something. The Healing Journey Accelerator was built to be that.

Three of the world's most respected trauma healing experts. A curriculum that goes where most programs don't. A coaching experience that meets you personally. And two live sessions with Dr. Peter Levine — the man who changed how the world understands trauma — in a group small enough to feel his presence.

A space to be in the work — together.

A small group therapy circle of diverse adults seated together in warm window light, hands joined in the center

Twice a month, Scott or Arielle leads a three-hour coaching session with your cohort of 14. In one of those two sessions each month, every participant receives their own dedicated individual time — live coaching focused entirely on your patterns, your nervous system, your stuck places.

The rest of the group witnesses and holds the space. And in a group this small, witnessing is not passive — you heal and learn through every session, not just your own.

Between sessions, there's continuity. Because healing doesn't happen on a schedule. It happens in the middle of life — in your relationships, your reactions, your everyday moments.

Scott and Arielle have a four-year waitlist for new private clients. This is the only way to work with them directly.

Not a course. An institution-grade healing container.

A small group therapy circle gathered in warm afternoon light
A small, consistent circle. The same faces, every week — where depth becomes possible.
The faculty
Scott Lyons, Arielle Schwartz, and two live sessions with Dr. Peter Levine — founder of Somatic Experiencing® and one of the most influential figures in trauma healing alive today.
The depth
Stress cycle completion, parts work, shame healing, attachment repair, inner child work, identity and integration — the processing work that only becomes possible once the foundations are in place.
The size
Personal coaching is limited to 14 people. Depth requires intimacy, and a nervous system learns safety from consistent, familiar faces.
The pacing
Sessions spaced deliberately so the body has room to integrate before the next layer begins. The same people, the same faculty, for ten weeks — because trust and depth build when the container stays consistent.

You might be ready for this if —

  • You've done significant healing work — therapy, courses, self-inquiry — and there are still places that feel stuck.
  • You understand your patterns well but find yourself stepping into them anyway.
  • You experience anxiety, emotional reactivity, shutdown, or disconnection that doesn't fully respond to the tools you already have.
  • You carry something in your body — chronic tension, fatigue, a low hum of unease — that hasn't fully resolved.
  • You feel ready, in some part of yourself, to go deeper. To do something that's less about learning and more about actually moving through.
  • You want to do this work with others — not in isolation, but in a small, consistent, held container with people who are genuinely in it alongside you.
  • You want direct access to faculty who can meet you where you are — not just deliver content, but actually see you.

If you have a feeling that there must be a way to finally feel better and freer in your own skin — this program is for you.

The shift you can feel over ten weeks.

Not a tactical upgrade. An identity shift — the same kind of change, again and again, in different rooms of your life.

Where you are now

  • Surviving in your body
  • Understanding your patterns
  • Managing your nervous system
  • Reactive in close relationships
  • Doing the healing work alone
  • Insight without change
  • Bracing for the next wave
  • Performing okay

Where you arrive

  • Arriving in your body
  • Moving through them
  • Trusting your nervous system
  • Steady in close relationships
  • Held in a consistent container
  • Change you can feel in your body
  • Settled enough to stay open
  • Actually at home in yourself

Three of the field's most consequential teachers.

Dr. Scott Lyons

Dr. Scott Lyons

Psychologist · Founder of The Embody Lab · Creator of Somatic Stress Release™

Scott Lyons is a licensed holistic psychologist, Doctor of Osteopathy, and Mind-Body Medicine specialist who has spent two decades focused on one question: what actually allows people to heal?

Not just understand their patterns. Not just manage their symptoms. But genuinely shift the ways they relate to themselves, their bodies, and the people they love.

He is the founder of The Embody Lab — the largest online learning platform for body-based approaches to trauma and stress — and the creator of Somatic Stress Release™, now taught in over 20 countries. He is the author of Addicted to Drama (Hachette) and the host of The Gently Used Human Podcast.

Over two decades, Scott has worked with more than half a million people internationally. What he has come to know, across all of it, is this: healing doesn't happen through insight alone. It happens in the body, in relationship, and in the right conditions. His gift is creating those conditions — and staying with you inside them.

Dr. Arielle Schwartz

Dr. Arielle Schwartz

Clinical Psychologist · Author · Leading Voice in Trauma Recovery

Dr. Arielle Schwartz is an internationally recognized clinical psychologist, trainer, and author of six books including The Complex PTSD Workbook and A Practical Guide to Complex PTSD. For over two decades she has been a leading voice in the field of trauma recovery, resilience, and somatic psychology.

Her approach is rooted in the science of neuroplasticity and the wisdom of the body — and her ability to hold complexity with clarity and compassion is something participants consistently describe as rare. She brings to The Healing Journey Accelerator not just expertise, but presence: a quality of attention that makes it genuinely safe to go to difficult places.

Arielle has trained thousands of therapists worldwide in trauma-informed somatic care. In this cohort, she brings that same sophistication directly to participants navigating their own healing.

Dr. Peter Levine

Dr. Peter Levine

Founder of Somatic Experiencing® · Pioneer in Trauma Healing · Author of Waking the Tiger

Two live working sessions — exclusive to this cohort

Dr. Peter Levine is one of the most consequential figures in the history of trauma healing. The developer of Somatic Experiencing® — a body-based approach to trauma resolution now practiced by therapists in over 40 countries — he has shaped the way the entire field thinks about what trauma is, where it lives, and how it moves.

His foundational insight: trauma is not in the event. It is in the nervous system's incomplete response to it. And the body, when given the right conditions, knows how to heal.

He is the author of Waking the Tiger: Healing Trauma, In an Unspoken Voice, and Trauma and Memory, among others. He has spent over 50 years studying the intersection of neuroscience, instinct, and the body's innate capacity for recovery.

Dr. Levine does not regularly teach in public group programs. His two live sessions with this cohort represent a genuinely rare opportunity — not a celebrity appearance, but a working encounter with the thinking and presence that has shaped this entire field.

Your journey, session by session.

01

From Surviving to Arriving

How to Finally Feel Safe in Your Own Body

Dr. Arielle Schwartz

Before the deeper work begins, the body needs to know it's safe enough to do it. This opening session establishes the foundation everything else builds on — not through concept, but through felt experience. Where the cohort lands together. Where the work begins.

Led by Dr. Arielle Schwartz

02

Unlocking What's Stuck

The Body's Hidden Language of Release

Dr. Scott Lyons

Healing isn't a matter of willpower. It's a matter of biology. Scott introduces the core mechanics of how the body holds — and releases — what it has been carrying. Pendulation. Titration. Discharge. The actual technical skills of processing work.

Led by Dr. Scott Lyons

03

Running on Empty

Healing Burnout, Freeze & the Patterns That Keep You Exhausted

Dr. Scott Lyons

For many people, exhaustion isn't the absence of energy — it's what happens when the nervous system has been running survival responses for too long. This session addresses the freeze state, the dorsal vagal collapse, the chronic depletion that looks like laziness and feels like something is fundamentally wrong.

Led by Dr. Scott Lyons

04

Finally Let It Go

Completing the Stress Cycles Your Body Never Got to Finish

Dr. Scott Lyons

Stress is not the problem. Incomplete stress cycles are. Through somatic practice, you'll learn to complete what got interrupted — and experience what it actually feels like when the body finishes something it's been carrying for years.

Led by Dr. Scott Lyons

05

Healing in Real Time Live with Dr. Levine

Live Somatic Experiencing® with Dr. Peter Levine

Dr. Peter Levine

One of two rare live sessions with the man who changed how the world understands trauma. Dr. Levine works with the cohort in real time — demonstrating the principles of Somatic Experiencing®, working with what the group is carrying. Not a lecture. An encounter with a living body of work, led by the person who created it.

Led by Dr. Peter Levine

06

Why You Love the Way You Do

Rewiring Anxious, Avoidant & Wounded Relationship Patterns

Dr. Scott Lyons

Your attachment patterns made sense. They were learned in environments where they were the most intelligent available response. This session goes into the somatic roots of how we bond, why we repeat, and what it actually takes — at the body level — to begin rewiring relational patterns that have been in place for decades.

Led by Dr. Scott Lyons

07

Enough

Breaking Free from Shame, Self-Doubt & the Stories That Have Kept You Small

Dr. Arielle Schwartz

Shame is not an emotion. It's a full-body state — one that disconnects us from ourselves and from each other at the exact moments we most need connection. With Arielle's clinical depth and compassionate precision, you'll begin to meet those stories in the body — and find, underneath them, something that was never actually broken.

Led by Dr. Arielle Schwartz

08

The Wound That Shaped You

Deep Inner Child Healing

Dr. Arielle Schwartz

Every adult carries younger parts — versions of themselves formed in moments of fear, confusion, abandonment, or pain — that are still doing the job they learned. Drawing on Internal Family Systems and developmental somatic work, Arielle guides the cohort into some of the deepest material of the program.

Led by Dr. Arielle Schwartz

09

Healing in Real Time Live with Dr. Levine

A Second Live Session with Dr. Peter Levine

Dr. Peter Levine

The second encounter with Dr. Levine arrives near the end of the program — when the cohort has done significant processing work and is ready to receive his teaching at a different level. His presence in this session will meet you where you actually are — not where you started.

Led by Dr. Peter Levine

10

The Life That's Been Waiting

Integration, Identity & What Comes Next

Dr. Arielle Schwartz

Healing changes you. Not in the way transformation marketing promises — but in quieter, more durable ways. The pause that appears before the old reaction. The things you stopped needing. The work doesn't end here. But you will.

Led by Dr. Arielle Schwartz

Sessions 05 and 09 are live working sessions with Dr. Peter Levine.

* Schedule above reflects Group 1, co-led by Dr. Scott Lyons & Dr. Arielle Schwartz. Group 2 is led by Dr. Scott Lyons only. The Dr. Peter Levine sessions (November 5 & December 10, 3–5pm ET) are attended by both groups.

The complete Healing Journey Accelerator — what you receive.

The Core Program

  • 10 live sessions — 2 hours of teaching and guided experiential practice, followed by 30 minutes of small-group community connection
  • 2 live sessions exclusively with Dr. Peter Levine, Founder of Somatic Experiencing®
  • Weekly somatic and nervous system-based healing practices
  • Trauma-informed education woven throughout every session
  • Experiential exercises and guided integration

Accelerator Coaching

with Dr. Scott Lyons & Dr. Arielle Schwartz

  • Twice a month, Scott or Arielle leads a three-hour group coaching session with your cohort of 14. In one of the two sessions each month, you receive your own dedicated individual time — live, focused coaching on your specific patterns, your nervous system, your stuck places. And in every session, whether it’s your turn or not, you heal. Witnessing others do this work in real time is part of the medicine.
  • Two coaching sessions per month, plus a 90-minute integration session — and a 90-minute introduction call to open the Accelerator — spaced deliberately so your nervous system has room to integrate before the next layer of work begins
  • A private cohort — just your 14 people. The same group, every time. Because depth builds when the space stays consistent.
  • After each session, you’ll leave with a clear direction for processing and integration — so the work that opens up in the room has somewhere to go
  • Scott has a four-year waitlist for new private clients. This is the only way to work with him directly.

Learning Resources

  • Two comprehensive workbooks with weekly exercises, reflection prompts, and somatic practices
  • Pre-recorded teaching videos to prepare you for each live session
  • Bonus learning resources for between-session support
  • Bonus learning resources curated for depth work

Community & Continuity

  • Private cohort community space for the duration of the program
  • Community available between sessions — for integration support, connection, and continuity
  • A consistent container of the same people, every session, for 10 weeks

Lifetime Access

  • All 10 live session recordings available to you in full, forever

The most sought-after voice in trauma healing. Live. With your cohort.

Dr. Peter Levine is the founder of Somatic Experiencing® — a body-based approach to trauma resolution now practiced by therapists in over 40 countries. His foundational insight: trauma is not in the event. It is in the nervous system's incomplete response to it.

He rarely teaches in open group formats.

In The Healing Journey Accelerator, he joins the cohort twice — once at session 5 as the program enters deep processing work, and again at session 9 as participants near integration. These are not lecture appearances. They are working sessions: Dr. Levine demonstrating his approach, engaging with what the cohort is carrying, responding in real time.

What participants say.

Working with Arielle has been a truly transformative experience. From the very beginning, she created a space that felt safe, compassionate, and deeply supportive. Her heart-centered approach, genuine care, and ability to meet me exactly where I was helped me navigate challenges with confidence and clarity. Through her guidance, I was able to get where I needed to be—not just in my healing journey, but in reconnecting with myself. I’m incredibly grateful for the positive impact she has had on my life. - Simone T. Stay at Home Mother, New York NY.
“For the first time in years, I feel genuinely comfortable in my own skin. I’m sleeping better, I’m more patient with my kids, and I finally know how to release my stress before it turns into physical pain.” - Chloe C., Mother & Corporate VP · London, UK
“Scott has an incredible gift for taking complex neurobiological concepts and translating them into practical, accessible tools. Working with him has not only transformed how I support my clients, but it has also changed how I show up in my own body.” - James A., Clinical Psychologist · Nebraska, USA
“Before finding Scott, I felt like I was constantly living from the neck up. I had read all the books on trauma and stress, but I was still intellectually bypassing my actual feelings. His approach is incredibly grounded, gentle, and deeply compassionate. Working through his somatic exercises has done more for my chronic anxiety in six months than years of standard talk therapy.” - MIA W., High School Teacher · Burnaby, Canada

Comparable access — private somatic work with practitioners of this caliber, even when available, typically runs into the tens of thousands. Scott's private practice has a four-year waitlist. Dr. Levine does not regularly teach in group programs at all. The Accelerator brings all three together, with personal coaching time built into the structure, for the duration of a season.

Everything you might be wondering.

Who is this program designed for?

The Healing Journey Accelerator is for people who have done meaningful personal growth, therapeutic, or somatic work and are ready to go deeper. It is not designed as a foundational program. If you're brand new to nervous system or somatic work, we recommend beginning with The Nervous System Reset. If you've already done that work — or equivalent — and there's still something that feels stuck, this is for you.

Is this therapy?

The Healing Journey Accelerator is an educational wellness program — sophisticated, trauma-informed, and clinically grounded. It is not a substitute for individual therapy.

How many people are in the cohort?

Coaching is capped at 14 people — split into two cohorts of 7 so that every participant has individual time with Scott or Arielle each month. This is not a course with hundreds of enrollees. It is an intimate, consistent container built for depth.

What if I can't attend a session live?

All 10 live teaching sessions are recorded in full and available to every participant. We strongly encourage live attendance — co-regulation happens in real time — but life is unpredictable, and full recordings ensure you never miss the content. Coaching session recordings are handled separately for privacy (see below).

Do I need prior experience with somatic work?

Some familiarity with nervous system or somatic concepts is helpful. If you've done therapy, mindfulness practice, or body-based work, you likely have the foundation needed. If you're unsure, reach out before enrolling.

What is the time commitment?

10 weekly sessions of 2 hours each, plus a 30-minute community connection circle after each. Accelerator participants also begin with a 90-minute introduction call, then attend two coaching sessions per month and a monthly 90-minute integration session. Plus time for workbook practice and reflection.

When does the coaching cohort meet?

There are two cohorts to choose from. Group 1 is co-led by Scott and Arielle and meets primarily on Monday afternoons (4–7pm ET), beginning with a welcome session on October 12 and running through December 18. Group 2 is led by Scott Lyons and meets primarily on Saturday late mornings (11am–2pm ET), beginning October 17 and running through December 18. Both groups attend the Dr. Peter Levine sessions together on November 5 and December 10, 3–5pm ET.

What is the difference between Group 1 and Group 2?

Group 1 is co-led by both Dr. Scott Lyons and Dr. Arielle Schwartz, as reflected in the session schedule on this page. Group 2 is led by Dr. Scott Lyons only. Both groups attend the Dr. Peter Levine sessions together. During the application, you can select which schedule works best for you.

Are these sessions online or in-person?

All sessions are held online via Zoom.

Why is there an application process?

Because enrollment is limited to 14 people, the application allows us to make sure each participant is ready for this level of personalized, depth-oriented work.

When will I hear back about my application?

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. The deadline to apply is Friday, July 3rd. You will typically be notified of your application decision within 2–3 business days of submitting.

When do I make my payment?

Upon acceptance, you will have 48–72 hours to choose your payment plan and make your first payment. If you choose a multi-payment plan, recurring payments will be charged on the same day each month. Due to the high demand for this program, we can only hold your spot for a limited time before moving to the next person on the waitlist.

How does the coaching work?

Before each session, you fill out a short form giving Scott and Arielle context on your growth, concerns, and where you are in your process. During the live session, you can elaborate, ask questions, and engage in real-time dialogue. The pre-session questionnaire helps you track how you're growing, notice what's shifting, and identify the areas that need attention next.

Will the coaching sessions be recorded?

Coaching is fully live and personalized. For the privacy and safety of all participants, each participant receives only the recording of their own individual session, plus the opening introduction call and integration session recordings.

Three people in soft embrace, framed by a sunlit doorway

This is not the beginning of your healing.

It's the part where something that has been waiting — in your body, in your patterns, in the life you've been trying to build — finally gets the conditions it has needed.

We'd be honored to be with you for that.

“You are far stronger and more resilient than you realize.”

— Dr. Arielle Schwartz
